| I'm gettin' the itch just thinkin' about it. My first flowers on the Salad Special arrived today. The mark of a garden Legend in these parts is to have tommies by Christmas. Here's hoping. |

| Adam, Christmas is the aim in Tassie too because Woolworth's ask up to $10 for the crud they sell. I guess in some ways your climate is similar but of course you are going to get summer which is often lost in space in Tassie. I've just planted my tomatoes outside ( local legend says not to plant outside until after 11th November). Amongst others, I'm trying Quickpick which is supposed to be an early fruiting one and heaps of Basil to go with it. Now I just need the pine nuts..........Linda |

Linda, lets hope that we have tomatoes for Christmas. My early girl and cherry red have flowers, my cues are coming on well and a few flowers are on them as well. Strawberries and rasberry's are loaded with fruit. passionfruit are breaking out in flower as well. The only thing that can hurt my garden is a very strong S.E wind or storm. Here is to a good Christmas to all the Cornacopia clan John |
