Nice work. The scene is set. The grey tracky pants should be dry by now. I like the concrete path to the Hills Hoist. And what a nice big bale of hay or straw. What else besides tommys have you got growing?

Ahhh, the pics are here! Those tommies are going great!! Looks like a mountain of hay/straw ready for mulching. I'm trying out sugar cane mulch this season.

There's gonna be a jungle in your yard soon. What's in the greenhouse?

How I would love to have a backyard that is flat and a regular shape, not cut out of a mountain (well, extra large hill anyway) and a weird shape.

You have done a great job, everything looks like it is growing well. I'm surprised you haven't taken the clothes line out to make more room for your tommies, etc. :) Going to put in any fruit trees?

The mountain of straw is a layered compost pile. It's already reduced in size by almost half. It has just cooled down enough to turn so that the outside becomes the inside. There's another one directly behind but next to the fence. That one was insulated so that it doesn't need turning. I ran out of straw when building the second one so couldn't insulate it.

PP, there are tommies, chillies, caps, peas, beans, lettuce, caulies, broccoli, spinach, silverbeet, onions, carrots, garlic, corn, potatoes, oca, Jerusalem artichokes, globe artichokes, youngberry, raspberry, strawberry, grape, peach, apple, mandarine, leeks, asparagus, rockmelon, watermelon, cucumber, zucchini, broad bean, beetroot and assorted herbs.

And just think, I get to do this all over again when I buy my own place! Yippeeeee, I think!

Great work, guys! Hope all goes well and you can eat the fruits of your labour! Adam, crank up the preserving unit, you'll need it. :)
