Leaf drop question

I've noticed in the past and just recently some of my chilli plants suffering localized leaf drop or a wilting shrunken look to portions of the plant it has killed some of my smaller chillis in the past. Do you think it could be a pest issue like some sort of stinging fly or similiar or something like that or disease. It dosn't affect all plants just a couple and they look pretty haggaed but seem to get over it, I was just curious if anyone knows what it is or has had similiar problems?

I don't know why this post won't drop from the top of the list hopefully me posting again will fix it.

RE: Leaf drop question

I can't answer your question, Mick, but all I can do is guess it's something to do with uneven watering. Wet then hot and dry then wet, etc.
