Heirloom Tomato Talk

For those of you close to Sydney there will be a talk on heirloom tomatoes hosted by the Henry Doubleday Research Association at the Earth Care Centre, UWS Hawkesbury Campus in Richmond. It will be on Sat 4th November at 12.30.
I'll be doing the talking as Raymondo has stage fright!!! but I hope he'll be there to answer your tomato questions.

I'll have a few spare plants for sale (very cheaply) almost all of which come from seed I acquired through this forum over the last few years. The HDRA seed bank will be there to sell seeds, and the book shop & the organic food co-op will be open.

If we can get enough people interested I'd like to host a Tomato Taste Fest at the end of summer.

So come along if you can & bring any spare seed or plants to swap, please contact me for more information.
Sarah

RE: Heirloom Tomato Talk

Sarah!
Why didn't you tell me earlier? (Why didn't I check the forum earlier!!!). Would love to have attended, to meet you and Raymondo and also to buy some of your seedlings (most of mine died, but do have a few Marglobe, Ponderosa Red, Kellogs' and Stupice thriving)...but too late....

Please keep us informed about the tomato tasting at Summer's end! I'm only a coupla hours away, and that may tempt me out of my fortress high in the mountains :>D

Regards,
Shax
