does anyone know the time from flowering to edible fruit for feijoa?

I feel like a bit of a dill, because I have one of these trees and I can't exactly remember. I am pretty sure that it takes at least 4 months but I could be wrong.

We expect fruit April-May in Victoria not exactly sure when the flowers with their edible petals should appear-

I read that the fruit are ripe when they fall to the ground. I'm still waiting for mine to flower.
