Tepin chilli plants, who's growing them. Any good recipes. How big did yours get.Any good links to information on them. I have a heap of little ones I started off about two months ago and they seem really hardy and grow really quickly. I can't wait to see them fruit. I have heard they can get two metres high and fruit all year round. I normally only grow habaneros and jalapenos but when I realized I could get the seeds I had to give them a crack. Mick

RE: For the chilli experts

Just growing some cayenne and rocoto types this year. Maybe a habanero type, not sure yet. One cayenne type is one I grow regularly. The original seed came from my brother a few years ago. It's nothing special but it's reliable and productive, at least it was in Sydney. Jury's out on whether it will do as well here in Armidale. The other cayenne type and the rocotos are from other GardenWebbers and this is their first year in my garden.

Is that the rocoto tree type. I've been thinking about getting a couple plants. I love my habaneros and jalapenos but I want to try something new this year. I also have some pequin chilli seeds which I just put in the ground. They are like tepins but have more cylindrical fruit. I hope some come up. Mick
