 o
Birdseye chilli plant lifespan?

Posted by josmo QLD (My Page) on

Good afternoon

I'm growing a birdseye chilli plant in a pot and while it's quite small for a chilli bush, it's producing a lot of inch to 2 inch fruits. However there are no new flowers developing, even though I harvest the fruit when they're ripe. Does this mean that I will only get a single harvest from this type of plant? From what I've read online, chillies are either annuals or pennenials but even annuals should last at least a couple of years in the Brisbane climate.

Thanks in advance for your help.
