Could be a Japanese quince, even a peach. There is a peach tree over the back fence with dark pink blossoms.

Could it possibly be a flowering plum? My nectarine tree is in flower at the moment it has pink flowers. I havent seen a fruit tree with deep pink flowers! My quinces, I have two varieties: Reas Mammoth and Fullers have only perfumed light pink flowers.

hope this helps

The trouble is they look pretty much the same until the leaves appear. Let's hope it's a peach!!

Nectarine are normally a lighter pink I reckon : ) at this time of year I'll place my money on a Peach or Crab Apple

There are several ornamental varieties of the prunus family which have deep pink blossoms, otherwise I agree with Nicefrog, it could be a crab apple.

Its an Apple tree!If the leaves appear first, then tiny pink blossoms occur then its definately an apple. (I have four different apple trees and they all do it.)
