Silverbeet Lucullus

This one is taking it's time to grow big leaves compared to the usual rainbow chard. Anyone grown it. I have a bed full of Silverbeet Lucullus but it's kinda slow and the leaves, despite plenty of N, are a light shade of green, which I think is normal. I suspect that, going on the comments attributed to it of being a non-bolter in hot weather, it's a tad cold to put on condition. Any feedback welcome.
Take care, Grub. |

| Grub, they're naturally pale green and not the same colour/size as Fordhook Giant for example. |

| Thanks again for your feedback, lomatia. I have about 30 of the silverbeet plants from a direct sowing and I do hope that the two of us can enjoy some feeds before it's tomato time. The leaves are about 15cm long. The plants are healthy but not as vigorous as I expected. |
