| Thanks for the sites Ray. I know about Eden Seeds and checked out the others. Did get some useful info. I probably didn't explain myself clearly as I was in a hurry when I wrote that. I'm trying to get some ideas on different types of vegies that kids may be interested in. Just trying to encourage kids to try different foods and grow plants that have different uses. Gourds are good because the kids can decorate them, etc. Also what different colour beans are there? Green, yellow and purple but what else? Maybe plants that have different uses such as made into tools by aborigines or weaving, etc. The plants have to be suitable for SE Qld and preferably something that can be grown easily and quickly - not trees that take years. I don't have a lot of time, usually only an hour or so, on the internet to search through pages and pages just to find an odd paragraph. I was hoping there might have been a site that covers quite a few of these type of plants. If anyone can point me to some useful sites that would be great but if not I'll just have to keep looking when I can. Thanks all G |
