Rainforest Pearl, makes me laugh-its simply a red/pink flesh variant of the finger lime in which 'someone' has PBR'd and is now set to make some money from it.
It doesnt take alot of effort to select a plant and put a name of it. You can find this same variant growing in the Mt Tamborine area.
I have it growing at home. It use to be called C. australasica var sanguinea. Good on them for promoting an Australian product and I guess this is part of the incentive!

Hi!
To view a small number of the selected native finger lime varieties being grown by commercial growers take a look at the wesite of Australian Finger Lime Company www.australianfingerlime.com

Here you will find information on the latest released varieties from the pro-active finger lime industry leader. No PBR's

What's their natural habitat? Do they handle the cold?
