Hello everyone, I'm needing some information about an Italian variety of pear called "Cap". I got a couple of scions from a seed savers meeting and I want to find out more about the pear. I have done some internet searching but I havent found anything
Thank you

| I thought it might be an abbreviated form of "Capiaumont", but I remembered that this is a German pear variety. Sorry. Ps.: I attended a talk and demonstration on grafting fruit trees and I'm all fired up to start doint it. Have practiced on some almond tree offcuts and it's a lot easier than I thought. Now I'm wildly looking around the place to find things to graft. *grins* |

| That's probably the same one. Remember Germans in one form or another ruled Italy for over 1500yrs and they shared a lot in that time. Spatz, I'll make sure there's heaps of cuttings for you in the package next week :-) |
