| I've been searching for this interesting little root vegetable from South America for a while now, to no avail. Does anyone grow this plant? I have lots of interesting things to swap and would even pay postage if someone can help me out with this. |

Hi Jamus, I hadn't heard of this veggie until I saw this post. Will be interested to see what comes of it. I've tried twice now to grow Oca (Oxalis tuberosa) but to no avail. I won't give up though. Good luck with your search. Ray |

| Ray, I read about Oca too. Apparently it needs short / long days to produce tubers? Did you read anything about day length regarding Oxalis tuberosa? I'm hopeful someone will have some Anu tubers, otherwise I'll have to resort to trying to bring seed in from overseas. |

have you tried overseas? the only catch is that it would have to be a commercial supplier. |

Jamus, I read that Oca needs a longish autumn in order to produce good tubers. The first time I tried was when I lived just north of Sydney. I think the heat and humidity was too much for them. The second time was here in Armidale where the autumns are fairly short. There's always next year. |
