| I left this gate there so the pumpkins had something to climb on but I think the relationship has gone further than that.Looks like we eat this one first. There's another similar one one the right.

| Thanks Spatzbear, yes they are Butternuts and Queensland Blues (or is that Queenslands blue).The Q.Bs had not all finished ripening hence the different colours.Thick creamy pumpkin soup with lots of parsley and garlic chives. Roasted pumpkin, mashed pumpkin and potato, and as a major ingredient in an Indian curry.A properly ripened Queensland blue is one of the most underated vegetables available. Peter |

| Hmm... I must admit I've never had a Queensland Blue that made me say, "Wow"! But after your review I might have to throw some seeds into the patch next year. :) |
