Chinese Water Chestnuts

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone tell me if chinese water chestnuts are grown commercially in Australia.I have been growing CWC's for about 7 years and preparing to harvest this years batch in a few weeks. Each year I have built up a good quantity of corm stocks for planting for the next season, with great expectations this year.
I am just curious to know if anyone in this forum is aware of any commercial growers so that I could communicate with to discuss the viability of growing commercially in WA.
Thanks,
Frank
