If the lilies look like they've been chomped from the top (esp. the flower buds just chopped off and disappeared) I'd suspect deer. I'm not sure about calla, but they love Asiatic lilies. Strawbery leaves? Again, if they're totally gone not just holey, it might be deer. Though if you've got a lot of grass around I don't know. But deer did eat my strawberry leaves late last fall before I had mulched. I'd assume that they'd have plenty else to eat in the spring though since they haven't touched mine since I took the winter pine bough covering off.

Damage that severe - and that widespread - would most likely be deer or a woodchuck. Both will leave bare stems. If your fence is too high for deer to jump over (at least 6 feet high) then I would look for a hole under your fence. I am battling a woodchuck right now; in the past, live trapping has been effective. Which reminds me to go check my trap... I had to reset it yesterday when I caught a possum.

I'ts been hard dealing with leaving so many wildlife friends behind. They were all very special and a big part of how I dealt with my very poor health and chronic pain. Many of the birds and possums were friendships that evolved over several years. But I'm a tuff old geezer with a streak of stubborness coupled with a luv of silly sods inside me somewhere. That's what keeps me going. So I log on and look at what everyone else sees in my wildlife visiting videos. Which is a crazy old possum kissing bloke with a luv for the friendliest locals who live in the area. I've had squirrels carry off small ripe eggplants the size of tennis balls, so nothing is out of the question. Go to 99cent store and get mesh pop-up hamper. Invert over pot and bend the ends outward so its flat/flush against ground. Secure with a bamboo stake going down thru mesh into strawberry planter dirt. I've done this as a stop-gap solution before I invested in rabbit cage wire for the larger plantings. Good luck.
