Stuttgart beans

Just picked a few Giant of Stuttgart climbing beans. (That's a dinner plate by the way) Only have about 10 plants and get a pile like this each week. Although thick and knobbly, they are still tender. Have collected a few seeds if anyone is interested.

Wow! They look great. It's amazing that they should be tender when they look so 'old'. :)

Are they like runner beans?
I love runner beans, they were a staple food in summer in the UK but I've given up trying to grow them here as it gets too hot & they don't set. If you think they will cope with hot weather I'd love to try some.

If you have enough, I'd like very much to try some GoS beans.
