From the garden

Just a few things from the garden (all on dinner plates for size comparison). The onions are nice and late but don't keep that well but that's what Creamgold is for. The beets are really good because they sqeeze up like carrots. The capsicum hasn't had as many fruits as others.

| I love beetroot season. I sacrificed them for tomatoes this year, a very silly decision, I could have had both!!. yours look great. |

| Nice lomatia. I grew Cylindra year before last and liked them a lot. I particularly liked getting lots of slices of a similar size. Good for bottling. I sowed Golden this year but got very poor germination and those that did grow produced nothing. Ah well, there's always next year! |

| I especially like the look of that capsicum. I picked a couple of chocolate capsicum this morning too. They're on a bread and butter plate which shows how *small* they are... they should taste OK though...

| Yum. I like seeing what other people harvest. Nothing exciting in my vegie garden at the moment, apart from the usual stuff. Zucchinis and tomatoes. Here's a box to give away. I'm taking a break from processing tomatoes.

| Ray, I think they market Golden as a leaves and root thing so that tells you a bit about the size expected. |
