| I dont know of a nursery but maybe a blue berry farm would give you some cuttings, We have one near us not much help for you way up in Sydney but it was just a thought. Jan |

| Thanks Jan. If I don't find a retail seller (found a couple of wholesalers but you have to buy in bulk), I'll visit a few berry farms up this way and see what begging will achieve. |

| Maybe you could try to grow them from seeds? Having said that, I failed miserably a few years ago when I tried that. But I'll have another go next spring. :) |

| I found this Spatz Seeds can be used for propagation but are mainly used in breeding programs as plants do not breed true to type. The seeds need to be exposed to light to germinate, which takes 3 to 8 weeks. Seeds are sown on the surface of sphagnum peat or a 1:1 mix of sphagnum and sand. The medium must be kept moist. |

Diggers has some in the new Autumn catalogue. I think there were 3-4 varities on offer. Have a look on their site: www.diggers.com.au Cheers Eve |

| They are slow to mature to getting fruit, so you would be best buying established ( two year old) plants otherwise it will be yonks before you get your muffins! Some farms over plant for a couple of year then dig out excess from their rows to allow the bushes to spread. If you offered to help with thinning you might get them free for your labour. |

Couple of nurseries out this way sell them. Millers at McGraths Hill, and my local nursery at Wilberforce. I think the guy at Wilberforce (who is not a plantsman!) gets his stock from the central coast. Both places open on Sat and Sun. Fancy a trip out to Windsor? If you do, let me know and I'll check to make sure they have what you want before you pack the cut lunch. Alternatively, I could pack and post 'em. D |

| Have you tried Daley's nursery (http://www.daleysfruit.com.au). They currently have nine different blueberry varieties available on their order form(http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/retailorderform.doc). You can buy direct if you spend more than $100 worth of plants, or they have a list of retail nurseries that buy from them in their catalogue (http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/Spring2001cat.pdf). |

Great suggestion, Fin. Daley's have an excellent reputation. Ray, maybe you could collect orders from forumites to reach $100. I'm sure I can think of few things I need........ D |

| Strange that Daley's don't actually list blueberries on their website apart from on the order form (thanks for that Fin). I didn't realise they had a $100 minimum order either, so maybe a collective order would be the go. Or a visit to Windsor! |

| I got mine from New Gippsland Seeds & Bulbs last spring. It's in a terracotta pot and although it has already flowered couple times and plant's looking healthy, the actual fruits drop prematurely so haven't had any crop yet. It could be the problem with my watering... |

| Maki, is the soil acidic enough? Blueberries like acidic soil. You could mulch with pine needles. I'm glad Ray asked where to get Blueberries from, it'll help me get some, too. They are my favourite fruit and they should do great at my place. Acidic soil, cold winters. :) |
