Terminator gene

If anyone is interested, there is a form letter available at the website below which you can send to our Minister for Agriculture, Peter McGauran, encouraging him to act to reverse Australia's support for this particular gene technology.
This is not meant to spark a debate/argument, merely an avenue for those interested to be able to send a letter to Peter McGauran.

RE: Terminator gene

Hi Raymondo,
We recently discussed the value of emailing MPs on an alternate forum. The point was raised that with todays advanced email filters and human sounding replybots, a good old fashioned hand written letter means far more to those in charge. This is simply because it costs them far more time and money to reply to hand written correspondence than the milli-second it takes a robot to do it via email.

So if you really care, do it by hand.

Karl

Forget it! If the terminator gene stops vegetable reproduction your minister and his fellow cohorts will be at the end of their geneological line! We may be better off.

You're probably right Karl.
Glenn, would that that were so!

RE: Terminator gene

thanks for bringing this up raymondo - I thought the terminator gene was terminated years ago - obviously monsanto (or whatever they've changed their name to this time) has started paying the liberal party large donations again.

RE: Terminator gene

it was never terminated paradisi,

they just put it on the back burner until they could set the chess board play to their advantage, and yes that may have meant a bit more palm greasing but probably more like the pollies or advisors that caused the stop of the gene tech now being given jobs in the big money raker multinational co' and ceo's from there now in appropriate gov' office to allow the technology to pass. unfortunatley the terminantor gene isn't implanted in nothing between the ears pollies.
