Ah Autumn

Leaves are about to turn, for those of you who have four seasons that is. The tropics can look forward to lessening humidity, a good thing too because I want to visit my grandkids again. They live a little north of Brisbane.

Green Harvest have issued their Autumn Green Notes, worth a look if you haven't seen it.

Enjoy.

Don't be fooled by the cool weather Ray, there's still plenty of time for another heatwave!
When it does finally get cold I'm planning a big bonfire to get rid of the tree stump I now have gracing my garden.
It is nice to start thinking of winter veges & clearing up the garden ready for next year.

The humidity has sure dropped. My resurgent tommy plants are going gangbusters.

I went to pull out my Black Krim on the weekend as it appeared fully dead, when I noticed a small but strong new shoot at the bottom of the plant. So, I pruned off all but the shoot and it is taking off. Done the same with Aussie and Spooks Polish.

Just picked my first resurgent Purple calabash. Sorry, et it before the photo. Aubergines going off their heads. Got 'em everywhere. Seems Autumn is Sydney's best season for growing.

I agree with you there adam, it's just too hot & humid in summer & spring is over in a flash. My garden is going really well now the fences are fixed & I can keep the chooks out. I'm hoping to do a good lot of planting this weekend.
