| Italian torpedo onions. I think they are called ROSSA DI FIRENZE - TROPEA not to be confused with the globe Red Florence. |

| Those Red Florence look amazing Lomatia. I wish I had the room to grow onions apart from spring onions. Tried a few times here and only had one successful year. If you dont get the timing right they all bolt to seed. |

| I did, but we have a category of jokes in this house/many local houses/schools/mine sites/universities/churches (did I say churches?) and pubs called "Bob/Dad/Mr.Reid/Poppy Jokes" that have many similar 'yeah right' responses.....and an archive like you wouldn't believe. We have an unspoken rule not to humour the joker otherwise they keep coming... I knew there was something about Raymondo that seemed familiar............... |
