carambola - star fruit

| I have an eighteen month old carambola tree - it seems to be growing well and flowers profusely (third flowering is just about complete) but it has never set a fruit
any ideas or help??
I don't think they are bisexual.
or maybe I'm wrong? |

| Mine has only produced it's first lot of fruit this year. It is 3-4 years old and is an only tree. One tree is sufficient but they are supposed to be cross pollinated so you get more fruit. A little potash may help |
