Time to get some numbers for the accommodation in Marysville. Below is a link to a Word document which you can download. It can be filled out, in Word, and be emailed as an attachment to

lomatia@gmail.com

If sending attachments presents a problem, just have a look at the form and write your own email providing the requested information.

See you all in 8 weeks.

We should probably keep this thread at the top so people can see it easily.

Ray,

I will be there so please include me in any circulation of details. I won't be taking up the free accommodation on account of my little boy (14 months old), who still has erratic sleep habits and I don't want to subject anyone else to his disrupted sleep :-)

Look forward to meeting you all in person.

Fiona

So who's coming to Marysville? Lips and I will be there. We were thinking of heading up on the Friday (taking the day off work) unless there are interstaters coming in on Saturday who are stuck for transport??

We have a decent tent, so we're lawn-camping :-)

I'll be there, staying somewhere or other but not at the cottages. I arrive Friday. I'm meeting Spatz and Co at the airport and we're driving up together, probably pick Adam up on the way through as he'll already be in Victoria.
Maybe the Friday nighters could meet up for dinner. We could just do something at one of the cottages (a barbecue perhaps) or sample a local restaurant. If the latter we should perhaps book, that's if anyone is interested of course.

Ray, that's a good idea. Let me know what you are planning as there a number of restaurants (is that the right spelling?) right up to the Cumberland and Marylands (Tulips) which are excellent but quite expensive.

Crossways an old style recently restored - near the river and eat on the verandah.

Fragas - small, friendly, good atmosphere.

Thyme in the Mountains - recently opened (haven't been there yet) - roomy.
All of the above are reasonable. I can make some bookings during that week if we have an idea of numbers.

(Also, a friend of mine has a very reasonable B & B near the forest if anyone wants alternative accommodation)

I'll be there. Not sure if I'm getting a lift from a friend in Thornbury, I may just meet the others at Lilydale station. There is also a Railway Bus up to marysville. I'll be there Friday for sure though, and I'm pretty sure I'm staying at the Cottages.
