| I have tried 10% meths in water but to no avail. There are more mealies than ever. Is there any way to stop these monsters that is reasonably non toxic. What do other growers use? Also what causes yellowing of the tips and eventual drying and death of the tip? Is it the mealies or is there a soil deficiency that will cause this in asclepiads? I would appreciate any guidance at all as I dont want to lose the plants. Robyn |

Soak some pure unscented soap in warm water and spray the plant --problem fixed Bev |

I know this probably sound silly but I have been know to vacuum them off indoor plants using low suction so I don't damage the plant. Cheers, Dee. |

| Thanks, I have never used soap so was reluctant not knowing if it would damage the succulents. I will go and get started now as they are wreaking havoc with the huernias. The vacuum is a great idea but thwe plants only have a minimal hold on the soil so would end up up the tube. I will try it on palms tho. Robyn |
