Suggestions please

I need some cacti / succulents to form a hedge in front of my new succulent etc garden. Would like 'things' that grow bushy as well as fairly high. Would be in dappled shade in the summer as they would be under the elms, but in full sun in the winter when the elms lose their leaves. Any ideas gratefuly received. Judie

Hi Judie
A couple of questions is this a high traffic area? And how some details on climate such as minimum and maximum temperature and rainfall?

RE: Suggestions please

Thanks Dave. No traffic at all, just to screen from the highway.
South West Vic is about zone 9. Lowest temp is about 10 and highest about 35 but only a few days a year.
Rainfall.problematical. Years ago, a good winter / spring rainfall, but latterly not so much. Drought still not completely gone I suppose would be the answer.
Full winter sun, dappled still at the moment as the leaves haven't burst forth on the elms yet,but as soon as they do it will be dappled. Hope that answers some of your questions. Judie
