Scale on Agave and adeniums

| I should have suspected from the ants. This is a not a major prob yet but annoying. Soft flat flaky scale, can be brushed off where I can reach, but its mainly under-sides of leaves with the agaves and that's hard to reach. Has anyone had success with systemic granules? |

Alison, I have used the systemic granules to best success.
I find the little devils get a liking for the metho I used to put on them.
Getting rid of the ants is the best way but they just keep on coming back and changing their nest sites.
