 o
spiral aloe help please

I've just found a 16cm aloe polyphylla at a local nursery for $11.99 and am just wondering whether anyone has any advice out there.
I've taken it out of the pot and it has a couple of off-sets starting which is fantastic and apparently rare according to some web-pages but the plant seems legit i.e. very soft and turgid for an aloe. Looks like too much water would definately cause melt down.
I'm thinking of putting it in a 50/50 mix of soil and small scoria or bark.
Is full southern aussie sun going to fry this baby or what?

They need plenty of water mate, keeping it dry will kill it!
