I saw this plant the other day on a photowebsite when I was checking out something else. I could not believe how gruesome they looked. What an appropriate name!
Can anyone tell me anything about them?
Cheers,
Dee. |

Hi Joylene, I have absolutely no idea. That is all they were labelled as and it was just a picture with no information. Cheers, Dee. |

I have done a heap of Googling and now know that this is a parasitic plant (a fungus) called Xylaria polymorpha which grows on rotting wood, usually in forest sitiuations. Therefore has nothing to do with succulents and cacti. My apologies for posting in the wrong forum! Cheers, Dee. |
