Help with cactus I,D?

When i was little, my mom had a Donkey's ears???? in a pot. I never knew what happened to it but would love to get another. Have I got the right name. It drooped from the basket about 30cm or so, with long branches of lots oftiny leaves. Very light green in colour. Any help would be apprecitaed. Thanks in advance.

Sedum morganianum? (Donkey's Tail or Burro's Tail)

Sedum morganium is the Burros tail I think Donkey ears is Kalanchoe tomentose we used to call it th scorched blanket blanket because of the black edges on the leaves.

I think it is called donkey tail. Does it have very small leaves that almost fall off as you touch them, and shaped like a banana, it also has a small red flower? It grows over the edeg of pots in lengths like plaits. Thats what I have and thats what I call it anyway. If you find one they grow easily from a cutting or even a dropped off leaf. michelle

Kalachoe tomentosa is called Panda ears. don't think pandas have ears like that tho. "

what u have described is definately a burrows tail (sedum morganiunum). if you cant get ur hands on any, i can give u some,

Hi Melthe,
I have the donkey ears your referring to! It's name is Kalanchoe gastonis bonnieri, previous known as Bryophyllum gastonis-bonnieri. I love this plant!! Go to www.killerplants.com/plant-of-the-week/20030915.asp

Your definately referring to the burros tail, but the donkey ears are an unusual succulant, sorry i was referring
to the name, but the description is burros tail you can get them at most nurseries.
