| Has anybody ever grown the very cold hardy Aloe striatula (not striata - 2 differents ones) as I'm looking to try it here. Anybody be prepared to sell me/swap for a couple of cuttings or know where I could get it?
Thanks |

| hello, I am interested as well . Does anyone have a link to a supplier of Aloes and Agaves, preferably in Victoria. E-bay is fine but there must be a committed grower that we should all know about. baldric |

| Just wondering, did anybody manage to track down Aloe striatula? I saw it offered on Oztion some years ago and am still kicking myself for not buying it. I have not seen it advertized anywhere since then. I recall the advertizer stated that it is "rarely offered". He was not kidding! You'd think such a hardy and attractive Aloe would be as common as Aloe vera, but not so. |

Thanks Fran, I pulled up in a tiny outback town recently and there in the garden bed was an enormous clump of Aloe striatula! I felt certain they wouldn't miss a tiny piece. :) I am not sure how it will flower yet. Some of the clones in Australia are quite pathetic, others spectacular. I will check out Aloe Aloe. |
