Is it a baby cactus?

| Have a 2 1/2 inch cactus with three sides only has picklies on nobs on sides.On one of the nobs it looks like a baby cactus growing with two roots hanging off it.Do we pinch it off and plant it or what? |

| It's called an offset, most cacti produce babies like this. You can leave it for a clump of cacti or remove it and keep the parent single. |
