| Hy,
Hy,
after a long time of effortless search I was able to get my hands on some Triodia basedowii seeds (Spinifex). I've tried garminating them but without success. Latley I have heard that they need fire to garminate.
Can someone give me a hint on how to do it?
Thank you very much,
Timo |

Timo, while I know nothing about succulents many of Australia's native plant seeds need fire to germinate. Researchers at Kings Park Botanic Gardens have found that it is the smoke, not the fire that causes germination. They sell 'smoke water'. Kings Park Botanic Park, Perth Western Australia have a website. Regards Deryn |
