| HEY ALL!.
PLEASE HELP!! my astrophytum just finished flowering, only lasted about three days (is this normal?) but anyway, i was wondering if theres gonna be some seeds inside the shrivelled up flower for me, (this is the first time its flowered). my guardian angel Lis tells me perhaps i should have pollinated it myself. so what do you all think? my leninghausii's flower shrivelled up and when i took off the dead flower, seeds came tumbling out, so in my somewhat inexperience i was hoping the astro would do the same! what have you experienced with your astros!!!??? please dont tell me ive wasted a perfectly good flower!! Cheers, Beck. |

| Hmmm. I've never had any of my Astro's go to seed yet, even with their prolific flowering. Always worth looking though. |

| its a pain in the butt isnt it. do u think i should have tried fertilising it with another flower? |

| Hi, My astro's only set seeds when I hand-pollinate them. A fat berry will appear soon and grow for several weeks before splitting open. Pieter |
