Info needed on sedum seiboldtii - variegata

It is confession time... I am a black thumb! When I walk into a nursery plants sprout legs from their pots and frantically try to run away...

I was recently given a succulent. It is a very pretty plant with small leaves and clusters of tiny pink flowers. The tag only says 'Sedum Seiboldtii "Variegata" - a very attractive basket plant producing beautiful pink flowers in winter.'

I have done a Yahoo search on this plant with no luck. Can anyone advise me on how to care for this plant?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Info needed on sedum seiboldtii - variegata

Hi I found your plant in one of my gardening books, it says succulents demand perfect drainage.

They grow best in a open well drained site where the surface is covered with a layer of small broken stone chips to a depth of 25mm is ideal, it also goes on to say that they need ample light, free movement of air, and protection from rain if it falls for any length of time.

So I reckon if you grow them in stoney soil, dont water too much, fertilise very lightly in Spring if needed, that black thumb may turn green

Hope this helps MM.
