Does anyone know this cacti pachyvaria exoctica

It is missing a couplke of leaves but for $1.00 I thought I'd give it a home anyway. has it a flower? jan |

| Hi Jan, Not a bad buy for a dollar! Yes they do have flowers. A stalk with dull orange sort of tubes or bells, typical of Echiverias. They are a cross between an Echiveria and a Pachyphytum. I don't think they are the most spectacular flower but are pleasant enough. I think they are grown more for the plant than the flowers. Cheers, Dee. |

| Sorry my dear it's not a cactus. Are you asking what species of pachyveria it is. When it grows more leaves I think some one on this forum will be able to name it. Norma |

| I would cut it off about an inch below the leaves let it `cork` (heal) for about a week or so there`s no rush, plant the top in a sandy compost and after a month or so when it has had a chance to root give it some water and a weak feed, - the old stem will probably make new shoots and look good too |
