Mealy Bugs/ Confidor

Posted by surfboy_boro WA Aust (My Page) on

I've noticed some mealy bugs on some of my cacti.

Is it OK to spray with Confidor?

I'm also considering making a bath with the solution so I can submerge the plant to clearup any mealy bugs which are attacking the roots. Would this be OK?

Cheers,

RE: Mealy Bugs/ Confidor

Hey, surfboy

Confidor appears to be harmless to cacti in any of it's forms. I use the aerosol, but keep it a fair way from the plant. Spray bottle is probably better.

I like to completely dunk my plants every couple of months and that would be the best time to do it.
