On the subject of the draco does anyone know if they strike easily from cuttings like all the other dracaenas? I have been lucky enough to move into a house with a seriously huge specimen in the front garden, unfortunately it's in an inappropriate position and needs to be moved.

They can be propagated from cuttings, just remove a branched section at the node, up to a metre long and plant in a sandy mix in full sun and stake it so it doesn’t moves and be careful not to break the growing tip.

Draco trees when they are big can not be removed so if they are not upright you have to look for a support but not transplant it, we have plenty of draco trees here in the Canary Islands and that's how we do it with big draco trees by the way if anyone is interested in this millenarium draco trees I have seeds to share regards canarina

Dragon blood trees CAN be transplanted! You may need a crane though. lol! Look up transplanting draco trees on the webshots site and theres pics of someone transplanting a huge one. goodluck! I'd say you'd be able to cut it off and it'll re shoot roots, like most cacti/succulents! If your game!!!lol!
