| I am fairly new to growing zygocacti so I don't know what they need. I know they don't seem to need a lot of water or good soil, as I have seen them surviving in almost-empty pots, and I have sucsessfully grown them from cuttings. Not always, but sometimes.
What I need to know is what conditions they like, how much water, and generally how to care for them. I have a big one outside where it doesn't get a lot of attention but probably gets watered more often than the one I have on the verandah, and it looks good, but the one on the verandah looks awful. I can't figure out what the problem is. Do they like the sun or not? Donna. |

| Hi Doona, Try WWW.rhipsalis.com which will give you lots of info on epiphytic plants. Cultivation needs are generally the same for rhipsalis and schlumberga (zygocactus) Regards Didge |
