cereus anyone?

| A property has recently been acquired by close relatives of mine who plan to develop it. This involves demolishing the existing house and destroying the TWO MASSIVE CACTI in the backyard. One is a Cereus peruvianus (do not confuse with Trichocereus) and the other a monstrose form of it. I can send pictures if requested. Many good sized cuttings will be taken, so if anybody would like a big landscape cactus, I'd be more than happy to organise a trade. I won't post them via mail as the cuttings will be too big (Victoria only)

| Well, if you would really like it, I could find a smallish offset for you. I'll check the postage rates and determine the best size for mailing. Jon |

Hi Jon, I would only like the montrose form of C.Peruv. I would like a cutting of about 2 feet long (preferably with many branches growing off it). I'm afraid the best I can do is 3 offsets (about 1 cm dia) of Rebutia (purple variety), and some Adromischus cooperi, Notocactus Lenighausii (2 offsets). Pick which one you would like and we can meet at a common place, say Q.Vic market ? |
