The Gib Nurseries lies at the foot of a local mountain called Mt Gibralter, was founded by my father Peter Mulquiney in 1948, specialising in growing vegetable seedlings, mail order Primula Polyanthus and field grown trees. 14 years after Peter's retirement, he retired. I have taken over the nursey and together with my wife have totally refurbished the site, specialising in quality and unusual plant material, sculpture and unusual gifts and Garden design .
