The Friends were founded in 1977 to support and foster interest in the three Botanic Gardens of Adelaide. A friendly and informal atmosphere is eveident in all the Friends activities and everyone is welcome to join and enjoy the company of others with similar interests.

Publications:
Bi monthly Gazette five times a year commencing in January

Meetings/Conventions:
Bi monthly general meetings on the first Tuesday of the month commencing in February in the Australian Mineral Foundation Lecture Theatre at 62 Conyngham Street, Glenside. Guest speaker and trading table
