Horticultural society founded 1960, with Branches in various parts of Australia, for gardeners with special interest in plants of the rhododendron genus, including azaleas and vireya rhododendrons.

Membership/Dues:
Australian members up to $A25 pa depending on Branch selected and quantity of mailed information required. Overseas members $A25.

Publications:
Annual Journal 'The Rhododendron' free with membership. Individual Branches distribute separate newsletters several times each year.

Meetings/Conventions:
Annual General Meeting & Convention held Oct-Nov. Branches have regular meetings, shows & excursions. Inter- national conference Melbourne Oct. 2000.
