The Newcastle Group of the Australian Plant Society (prev. Sgap) is for people interested in Australian Native Plants living in the lower Hunter Valley.

  • Volunteers Needed

Types of Programs:
Educational, Native Plants

Programs:
Environmental, Educational, Native Plants, Bushwalking, Garden visits, Meetings with guest speakers.
Maintainence of a garden bed at the Newcastle Botanic Gardens, and garden beds and bushland at the Wetlands Centre.

Publications:
Australian Plants (quarterly)
Native Plants for NSW (quarterly)
Local newsletter bi-monthly)

Meetings/Conventions:
Monthly meetings (except January), including guest speaker.
Weekend, and Midweek activity which is usually a bushwalk, or garden visit.
