This Society meets to cultivate an appreciation of flowers and floral design amongst its members by friendly competition at meetings, with monthly demonstrations and periodic workshops. Meetings are designed to foster a friendly atmosphere and enjoy the beauty of flowers.
Registers and documents cultivated garden plant collections held by collectors, horticulturalists, nursery owners, land managers, gardeners, botanic gardens & societies and provides a forum for information exchange.
The Dahlia Society's aim is to promote the growing of Dahlia's. New members and visitors are always welcome. General topics are discussed at the meetings and cultural advice is openly available.
This association has been set up to organize garden open festivals and smaller events. Its aim is to educate both garden exhibitors and visitors and at the same time encourage non-local people to stay in our area and thus contribute to the local economy.
