The Australian Plants Society exists to promote and maintain interest in growing and propogating Australian plants in home gardens and public places and to encourage the recognition and development of distinctive landscape styles and forms using Australian native plants.
The Friends were founded in 1977 to support and foster interest in the three Botanic Gardens of Adelaide. A friendly and informal atmosphere is eveident in all the Friends activities and everyone is welcome to join and enjoy the company of others with similar interests.

'Friendship through Gardening' is our motto of a group of older members in the Narooma Dalmeny Kianga area of the south coast of New South Wales. Members join together to visit open gardens and swap ideas for better garden and to develop friendships through gardening.
Evolved from the Palm & Cycad Society. Members are now using other plants to create a tropical look in their Gardens. Meetings at Drummoyne Senior Citizens Hall, 422 Lyons Rd., Five Dock 7.30pm 4th Tuesday of alternate months from January.
