Our aim is to promote the growing of Australian native plants in Australian public and private gardens and the preservation of Australian plant species in the wild. We help people learn more about Australian native plants.
Mandurah Wildflower Group Inc.- we hold regular meetings with speakers, have a Newsletter, enjoy excursions and propagate and sell native plants. We also produce Wildflower Walks Brochures and a range of Wildflower Greeting Cards.
Our Community Garden has four large communal gardens called Faith, Hope, Love and Peace, 3 smaller ones and 2 gardens for those with disabilities. We grow vegetables, flowers and herbs.
A progressive garden club which holds a annual Flower Show and also occassionally garden open days. Monthly meetings are held with cut flower and arrangement competitions. All members of the community are welcome to join.
The Bannockburn and District Garden Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month. We currently have a membership in excess of 30 and our membership fees are $5.00 per year. We conduct a yearly plant swap each April in conjunction with our Annual General Meeting.
The Bundaberg Bush House and Orchid Club subtropical members growing a wide range of subtropical plants in their gardens. Members also enjoy regular bus trips to many different gardens around Bundaberg and also has field day to members gardens.
We aim to promote the study, culture, and propagation of Bromeliads. We do this with meetings, shows, demonstrations, publications, and a 'Bromeliads in Australia' website with space for News letters of associated regional clubs.
