This is a Work for the Dole Project where unemployed people can gain skills and training in Horticulture and Conservation. Also provide Native plants to ratepayers of Cooloola Shire under Council's Free Tree Program. We have some plants for sale at reasonable prices.
The Macarthur group is an area group of the N. S. W. Australian Plants Society. The group covers an area in the outer Sydney South West. The group is centred on Campbelltown and Camden.

The aim of this Society is to promote fellowship among all peiple interested in bromeliad culture and in horticulture generally and to promote further knowledge and advancement in growing bromeliads.
We meet at the United Church Hall Corrimal on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10.30am. We have a guest speaker on each meeting, we visit local gardens and have2-3 coach trips a year. All visitors are welcome.
We are an organization of around 2500 people who are interested in growing, conserving and appreciating australian plants. We have around 30 district groups around Nsw-activities: bush regeneration, conservation, propagation workshops and garden visits, meetings and talks.
